Listening: It is my last morning before school starts. My favorite thing about summer is that I can get up early and enjoy my coffee and computer time without anyone needing anything...well almost because my cats (we became a two cat family last month when my husband adopted a stray) always want food first thing. Before my coffee...the nerve! What is your morning routine?
Loving: I have developed a real problem with monthly box subscriptions. I just restarted our Nature Box for school snacks. Shmurtz and I LOVE Birchbox because we get beauty and make up things to try every month. I wrote about last months box HERE. Yesterday I signed up for my first Stitch Fix, and I can't wait to see what arrives.. I also tried Conscious Box, but I didn't love it at all. Last night dear hubby discovered Nerd Block, so that will be arriving soon too. Do you have any box subscriptions?
Thinking: I woke up long before I should have given that today is the last day before school starts, but once my mind started going, I realized that I have a TON to do in order for the girls and I to be ready tomorrow. The house will never be done, so I've given up on that. I also almost forgot to copy my Short Story Boot Camp for this week, which would be problematic except I was planning on going into school today, so I feel good about tomorrow. Read about my Boot Camp. Do you have a list you check off before school starts?
Wanting: I have a big training check coming, but it hasn't arrived yet. I want it, so I can buy some new shoes. I am in need of new running shoes because I am determined to become a runner this year. It helps that my daughter is on the cross country team, and two dear friends coach the middle and high school teams. I love my Dansko clogs; I have three pairs plus a pair of Mary Janes. However, they aren't great for dresses and the warm weather we will have the first month of school. I read a lot of blogs about how teachers love Tieks, so I want this check to buy me a pair. Have any other comfy school shoe suggestions?
Needing: Don't we all need more time in summer and more time with our kids? What would you do with another week of vacation?
Three Trips I Have Never Taken: Italy- The Food...need I say more?, Mardi Gras-It has always been on my bucket list, and dear hubby loves it there, but I have never gone, Moscow-I have a healthy love for the Russian royal family from pre-revolution, and I want to see the places they lived, and I have to take my dad, who is also a history buff. Thoughts?
